The PIERS research team is evaluating The Harbour’s innovative treatment model and has invited community partners as members of the PIERS advisory board. Through ongoing collaboration, advisory board members provide valuable insights to strengthen eating disorder care and support the successful implementation of the PIERS research study during advisory board meetings.

Dr. Lindsay Bodell
Co-Principal Investigator
Research Interest/Specialization
Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Western University. Dr. Bodell’s research seeks to better understand psychological and biological processes that contribute to the development and maintenance of eating disorders.
Dr. Cheryl Forchuk
Co-Principal Investigator
Research Interest/Specialization
Distinguished University Professor at Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing (Western University) and Scientist at Lawson Research Institute. Dr. Forchuk’s research interests lie in the area of mental health, in particular the development and testing of supportive models of care.
Anne Peters

Anne Peters is the PIERS Study Project Coordinator. Anne works as a member of Dr. Cheryl Forchuk’s team at Lawson Research Institute as a Research Coordinator managing community-based mental health and housing initiatives.

Dr. Robbie Campbell
Director of The Harbour

Dr. Campbell is the Physician Lead of The Harbour and founded the program in 2024. He led the development and implementation of its innovative eating disorder treatment model for post-secondary students. As a member of the PIERS study team, Dr. Campbell collaborates with researchers to evaluate the effectiveness of The Harbour's treatment model and support its ongoing refinement.
Sara Bradbury

Sara Bradbury is a Registered Nurse at The Harbour, where she specializes in mental health and eating disorder care. As a member of the PIERS study team, she supports participant recruitment and helps facilitate the successful implementation of the study.

Today, representatives from the EDFC serve on the study's advisory board, regularly participating in advisory board meetings to provide guidance and inform the ongoing implementation of the study.
